Professor Laschat and three members of our group, Max Ebert, Michael Müller and Christopher Schilling attended the 48th Conference of the German Liquid Crystal Society at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität of Würzburg from March 28th to March 30th.
Christopher Schilling presented a paper titled “Tailoring Mesomorphic IDA-boronates: New Outfit = New Properties?", for which he won one of three Young Researchers Awards awarded by the German Liquid Crystal Society (GLCS). Congratulations! Max Ebert and Michael Müller presented posters. Additionally, a poster was presented on behalf of Sebastian Wachsmann, who unfortunately could not make it to Würzburg himself.
